# Install the Figranium Swift SDK

> Add the Figranium Swift package via Xcode or Package.swift. Requires Swift 6.0+ and macOS 13/iOS 16/tvOS 16/watchOS 9. Verify with a health check.

The Figranium Swift SDK installs from GitHub as a Swift Package Manager dependency. It has no external dependencies and builds on macOS, iOS, tvOS, watchOS, and server-side Swift.

## Requirements

* Swift 6.0 or newer.
* Deployment target of macOS 13, iOS 16, tvOS 16, or watchOS 9.
* A running Figranium server that the client can reach. Local installs default to `http://localhost:11345`.

## Add the package

### Xcode

1. In Xcode, choose **File > Add Package Dependencies**.
2. Enter `https://github.com/figranium/figranium-swift.git`.
3. Select the `Figranium` library product and add it to your target.

### Package.swift

Add the dependency to your package manifest and list `Figranium` as a dependency of your target.

## Import

Import `Figranium` in any file that uses the client.

import Figranium
```

## Verify the install

Call `health.check()` to confirm the SDK can reach your Figranium server.

```swift verify.swift theme={null}
import Figranium

let client = Figranium()
let status = try await client.health.check()
print(status.status ?? "unknown")
```

A healthy Figranium instance returns a `HealthStatus` with `status` equal to `"ok"`.
