Privacy Policy
Last updated: September 2, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Figranium (“Figranium,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) collects, uses, stores, and shares information when you use the Figranium website, Templates Hub, documentation, and related online services.
Figranium is also available as self-hosted open-source software. The privacy practices of the self-hosted software are described separately below.
1. Self-Hosted Figranium
The self-hosted version of Figranium does not include telemetry.
When you run Figranium on your own infrastructure, Figranium does not automatically send us your Tasks, Executions, captures, scraped data, browsing activity, configuration, or usage information.
Data processed by a self-hosted Figranium instance remains on infrastructure controlled by you or the operator of that instance, except where you configure Figranium to communicate with external services.
If you use a Figranium instance operated by another person or organization, that operator's own privacy practices may apply.
2. Templates Hub
The Figranium Templates Hub allows users to create accounts, publish and download Templates, and access related features.
Account Information
We process information associated with your Figranium account, which may include:
- Your user ID
- Email address
- Username or display name
- Authentication information and identifiers
- Account creation, verification, and related timestamps or metadata
Authentication for the Templates Hub is provided using Neon Auth. Neon may process information necessary to authenticate users, verify accounts, and maintain authentication sessions.
For more information, see Neon's Privacy Policy.
Templates and Submissions
When you create, submit, or publish a Template, we may process the Template itself and information associated with it, including its title, description, configuration, content, metadata, author information, and other information you choose to provide.
Information you choose to publish to the Templates Hub is public and may be viewed, downloaded, copied, or otherwise used by other people according to the terms applicable to the Templates Hub and the Template.
AI Processing
Templates may be processed using third-party artificial intelligence services to provide features of the Templates Hub.
When AI processing is used, Template content and other information necessary to perform the requested processing may be transmitted to an external AI provider. This may include content from a Template before it is publicly published.
The AI provider used may vary over time. Information transmitted to an AI provider is also subject to that provider's applicable terms and privacy policy.
You should not include personal, confidential, or sensitive information in Template content submitted for AI processing unless you have the right and an appropriate reason to provide that information.
Template Downloads
When you download a Template, Figranium may store a record associating your account with the Template you downloaded.
We use these records to maintain download information and help prevent duplicate or artificial inflation of Template download counts.
These records may include your user ID, the Template involved, timestamps, identifiers, and other information necessary to operate the download system.
Self-Hosted Data
Using the Templates Hub does not cause a self-hosted Figranium instance to send us its Tasks, Executions, captures, scraped data, browsing activity, or other instance activity.
3. Website Analytics
We use PostHog on the Figranium website to understand how visitors use the website and to help us maintain and improve it.
Depending on our configuration of PostHog, analytics information may include page visits, interactions with the website, referring information, device and browser information, and similar information associated with use of the website.
For more information, see PostHog's Privacy Policy.
Website analytics are separate from the self-hosted Figranium software. The presence of analytics on our website does not mean that self-hosted Figranium contains telemetry.
4. Documentation
Figranium's documentation is provided using Mintlify.
When you access the documentation, Mintlify may process information associated with your visit and use of the documentation according to its own privacy practices.
For more information, see Mintlify's Privacy Policy.
5. GitHub and Repository Metrics
Figranium may display or use publicly available information obtained from GitHub, including repository statistics, stars, releases, contributors, or other public repository information.
This information originates from GitHub and may change independently of Figranium. Where Figranium obtains information through GitHub or its services, use of that information may also be subject to GitHub's applicable terms.
Your independent use of GitHub, including interactions with the Figranium repository on GitHub, is governed by GitHub's own policies and is not controlled by this Privacy Policy.
For more information, see GitHub's Privacy Statement and GitHub's Terms of Service.
6. How We Use Information

- Create, authenticate, secure, and maintain user accounts
- Operate the Templates Hub
- Process, publish, and display Templates

We may also use aggregated or de-identified information to understand and improve Figranium and its online services.
7. How We Share Information
We do not sell your personal information.
We may provide information to third-party service providers where reasonably necessary to operate Figranium's online services. These may include providers of:
- Authentication and databases
- Artificial intelligence services
- Website analytics
- Documentation hosting
- Infrastructure and hosting
- Email or communications
- Security and other operational services
The information provided depends on the service being used and what is necessary for that provider to perform its function.
Third-party providers may process information on our behalf or under their own applicable terms and privacy policies.
We may also disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is necessary to comply with applicable law, regulation, legal process, or a valid governmental request; investigate or prevent fraud, abuse, or security threats; enforce our terms or policies; or protect the rights, property, and safety of Figranium, our users, or others.
If Figranium or substantially all of the relevant operations or assets associated with Figranium are transferred to another person or organization, information may be transferred as part of that transaction, subject to applicable law.
8. Public Information
Information you intentionally publish through the Templates Hub is public.
Once information has been made public, other people may copy, redistribute, archive, index, or otherwise retain it. Removing information from Figranium therefore may not remove copies independently retained by third parties.
You should avoid including information in a public Template that you do not want to be publicly available.
Information you independently make public through GitHub or another third-party service may likewise remain available according to that service's practices.
9. Data Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, including providing and maintaining our services, maintaining accurate records, preventing abuse, protecting the security and integrity of our services, resolving disputes, and complying with applicable legal obligations.
Different categories of information may be retained for different periods.
Certain records may remain after an account is deleted where retention is reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance, maintaining service integrity, or other purposes permitted by applicable law.
Public Templates and information associated with them may also remain available where necessary to preserve the operation or integrity of the Templates Hub or where copies have been independently retained by others.
10. Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures designed to protect information processed through Figranium's online services against unauthorized access, loss, misuse, alteration, or disclosure.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
For self-hosted Figranium, the security of the installation and the information it processes also depends on the security practices, configuration, infrastructure, and third-party services selected by the person or organization operating the instance.
11. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on where you live, applicable privacy laws may give you certain rights concerning your personal information.
These may include rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of certain personal information, as well as rights to restrict or object to certain processing.
You may contact us to make a privacy-related request. We may need to verify your identity before completing certain requests.
We may retain information where retention is permitted or required for purposes such as legal compliance, security, fraud or abuse prevention, maintaining the integrity of the service, or resolving disputes.
12. Third-Party Services and Links
Figranium may interact with or link to websites, applications, AI providers, integrations, or other services operated by third parties.
This Privacy Policy does not control the independent privacy practices of third parties. Information processed independently by a third party is subject to that party's applicable terms and privacy policy.
We encourage you to review the privacy policies of third-party services you choose to use.
13. International Processing
Figranium and third-party service providers used to operate our online services may process information in countries other than the country where you live.
Where required by applicable law, personal information will be handled using appropriate mechanisms or safeguards for international data transfers.
14. Children's Privacy
Figranium is not specifically directed at children.
We do not knowingly collect personal information from children in circumstances where doing so would violate applicable law. Age requirements and requirements for parental or guardian consent vary by jurisdiction.
If you believe a child has provided personal information to Figranium in circumstances where applicable law requires its deletion or parental or guardian involvement, please contact us.
15. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as Figranium, its features, or the services we use change.
When we update the policy, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page.
If we make material changes to how we handle personal information, we may provide additional notice where appropriate or required by applicable law.
