Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of Figranium-operated websites, the Figranium Templates Hub, and related online services (collectively, the “Services”).
By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you should not use the Services.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to Figranium-operated websites, the Templates Hub, and related online services.
The self-hosted Figranium software is open-source software and is governed by the license provided with the applicable software. These Terms do not replace or restrict rights granted to you under an applicable open-source license.
Third-party services, integrations, websites, and software may be governed by their own terms.
2. Accounts
Some Figranium Services, including features of the Templates Hub, may require an account.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for taking reasonable measures to maintain the security of your account.
You may not impersonate another person or organization, access another user's account without authorization, or use an account to engage in activity prohibited by these Terms.
We may restrict or suspend access to an account where reasonably necessary to protect the Services, other users, or Figranium from abuse or security threats.
3. Templates Hub
The Templates Hub allows users to submit, publish, discover, download, and use Templates.
A “Template” includes a workflow, automation, configuration, associated metadata, and other content submitted to or published through the Templates Hub.
You are responsible for Templates and other content you submit.
Submission or publication of a Template does not necessarily mean that Figranium has reviewed, endorsed, verified, or approved it.
4. Ownership of Templates
You retain any copyright and other ownership rights you hold in Templates and other content you submit to Figranium.
Submitting or publishing a Template does not transfer ownership of your copyright to Figranium.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the rights necessary to submit and, where applicable, license the content you provide.
5. Template License
Unless otherwise expressly stated by Figranium, when you publish a Template to the Figranium Templates Hub, you make that Template available under the Zero-Clause BSD (0BSD) License.
The 0BSD license allows Templates to be used, copied, modified, and distributed without an attribution requirement, subject to the terms of that license.
You retain any copyright you hold in your Template.
The 0BSD license applies when a Template is published. Merely creating, drafting, or privately submitting a Template does not by itself make that Template available under 0BSD.
Once a Template has been distributed under 0BSD, deleting the Template or your Figranium account does not revoke rights that were already granted under the license.

Future Paid Templates
Figranium does not currently offer paid Templates.
Figranium may introduce paid Templates or other licensing options in the future. If paid Templates are introduced, these Terms will be updated to establish the license and terms applicable to them.
Until updated Terms establishing a separate license for paid Templates take effect, any Template published through the Templates Hub remains subject to the license identified under these Terms, including 0BSD where applicable.
Figranium will not treat an existing 0BSD-licensed Template as having become subject to a more restrictive license merely because paid Template functionality is introduced.
Any new licensing terms for paid Templates will apply only as specified when those terms and the paid Template functionality become effective.
6. License to Figranium
You grant Figranium a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, store, reproduce, process, display, transmit, modify, adapt, and otherwise use content you submit to the extent reasonably necessary to operate, maintain, improve, secure, and provide the Services.
Figranium may modify or adapt Templates, including to maintain compatibility, improve functionality, correct issues, meet Templates Hub requirements, or otherwise improve the Template or the Services.
For content that has not been publicly published, Figranium's rights under this section are limited to purposes reasonably related to providing and operating the Services. These rights do not make an unpublished Template public or license it to other users.
For published Templates, Figranium may modify, adapt, reproduce, distribute, feature, or otherwise use the Template in accordance with its applicable license.
Figranium's ability to modify a Template does not constitute verification or acquisition and does not require the Template to be designated as verified or acquired.
This license does not transfer ownership of your content to Figranium.
7. AI Processing
Features of the Templates Hub may use third-party artificial intelligence services.
When you use a feature involving AI processing, content from your Template and other information necessary to perform the requested processing may be transmitted to an external AI provider.
The provider used may change over time. Your use of AI-powered features may also be subject to the applicable provider's terms and policies.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have the right to submit content for such processing.
You should not submit personal, confidential, sensitive, proprietary, or otherwise restricted information for AI processing unless you have the right and an appropriate reason to do so.
8. Automated Access, Scraping, and Testing
Figranium expressly permits automated access to and scraping of publicly accessible pages on Figranium-operated websites.
You may use browser automation, web scraping, crawlers, bots, agents, scripts, testing tools, and similar software to navigate, interact with, extract information from, or otherwise test against publicly accessible Figranium pages.
This permission includes use for development, testing, benchmarking, research, demonstrations, and evaluation of browser automation or web scraping software.
Automated access is not prohibited merely because it is automated.
This permission does not authorize you to:
- Access another user's account or non-public information without authorization
- Circumvent authentication or access controls
- Exploit security vulnerabilities
- Intentionally interfere with or degrade the availability, integrity, or security of the Services
- Use automated access to commit fraud or other unlawful activity
- Obtain information that you are not otherwise authorized to access
Figranium may temporarily or permanently restrict automated activity that materially disrupts, damages, or threatens the operation or security of the Services.
Except for those limitations, Figranium permits its public websites to be used as targets for browser automation and scraping.
9. Acceptable Use
You may not use the Services to:
- Violate applicable law
- Infringe another person's intellectual property or other rights
- Publish content that you do not have the right to distribute
- Distribute malware or intentionally malicious code through the Templates Hub
- Gain unauthorized access to accounts, systems, or information
- Interfere with the security or normal operation of the Services
- Impersonate another person or organization
- Artificially manipulate Template downloads or other Figranium metrics
- Use the Services to deceive Figranium's systems about genuine user activity
These restrictions do not prohibit legitimate security research, automation testing, scraping, interoperability work, or other activity expressly permitted elsewhere in these Terms, provided that the activity does not involve unauthorized access or material disruption.
10. Template Downloads and Metrics
Figranium may display statistics such as Template downloads, GitHub repository information, or other metrics.
Metrics may be delayed, approximate, corrected, recalculated, removed, or otherwise changed where necessary to maintain their accuracy or integrity.
You may not artificially inflate or manipulate Template downloads or other Figranium-controlled metrics.
Figranium may disregard, remove, or correct activity that we reasonably determine is duplicate, artificial, fraudulent, automated for the purpose of metric manipulation, or otherwise does not represent the activity the metric is intended to measure.
Automated access permitted under Section 8 is not prohibited merely because it generates automated traffic. The restriction in this section concerns manipulation of metrics rather than legitimate automation or testing.
11. Community Templates
Templates published by users are community-provided content.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise, Figranium does not guarantee that a Template:
- Works as described
- Will continue to work
- Is secure or free from harmful behavior
- Complies with the terms of third-party websites or services
- Produces complete or accurate results
- Is suitable for a particular purpose
You are responsible for reviewing and determining whether a Template is appropriate for your use before executing it.
A Template's availability through the Templates Hub does not constitute an endorsement by Figranium.
12. Verified and Acquired Templates
Figranium may offer to verify or acquire a Template published through the Templates Hub.
Verified Templates
A Template may be designated as verified by Figranium only with the approval of the Template's creator or other applicable rights holder.
Verification indicates that Figranium has reviewed or recognized the Template according to its verification process. Verification does not transfer ownership of the Template to Figranium unless a separate agreement expressly provides otherwise.
The scope and criteria of verification may change over time.
Verification does not guarantee that a Template will always function correctly, remain compatible with third-party websites or services, be secure, or be suitable for every use.
A verified Template remains subject to its applicable license.
Figranium may modify a Template without designating it as verified. Modification alone does not constitute verification and does not require creator approval where Figranium otherwise has the right to make that modification under these Terms or the applicable Template license.
Acquired Templates
Figranium may offer to acquire a Template or rights associated with a Template.
An acquisition requires the approval of the Template's creator or other applicable rights holder and will be governed by a separate agreement specifying the rights being transferred or licensed to Figranium.
Figranium does not acquire ownership of a Template merely because the Template is published, modified, popular, featured, recommended, reviewed, or verified through the Templates Hub.
Where an acquisition transfers ownership or additional rights to Figranium, the transfer applies only as provided in the applicable acquisition agreement.
Any rights previously granted to third parties under an applicable license remain unaffected to the extent required by that license.
Approval and Featuring
Figranium will not designate a Template as verified or acquired without the approval required under this section.
Figranium does not require creator approval merely to feature, recommend, rank, categorize, display, modify, or otherwise promote a Template where Figranium has the right to do so under these Terms or the Template's applicable license.
Featuring, recommending, ranking, modifying, or displaying a Template does not by itself constitute verification or acquisition.
13. Third-Party Websites and Services
Figranium may interact with, integrate with, obtain information from, or link to services operated by third parties.
Your use of those services is governed by their applicable terms and policies.
Figranium is not responsible for the availability, content, policies, actions, or independent practices of third-party services.
This includes websites against which you choose to run browser automation. Permission to use Figranium does not grant you permission to access, scrape, automate, or otherwise interact with a third-party website.
You are responsible for determining whether your use of third-party services is permitted.
14. GitHub Information
Figranium may display publicly available repository information or metrics obtained from GitHub.
GitHub information may be delayed, incomplete, or changed by GitHub independently of Figranium.
Your use of GitHub is governed by GitHub's applicable terms and policies.
Nothing in these Terms grants additional rights to GitHub content beyond rights you otherwise have.
15. Moderation and Removal
Figranium may remove, restrict, hide, or otherwise moderate content where we reasonably believe doing so is necessary because the content:
- Violates these Terms
- Violates applicable law
- Infringes another person's rights
- Presents a security risk
- Is malicious, fraudulent, or abusive
- Artificially manipulates the Services
- Materially interferes with the operation of the Services
We may also restrict or suspend accounts associated with serious or repeated violations.
Figranium is not obligated to host or continue distributing any particular Template.
Removal of a Template from the Templates Hub does not revoke rights previously granted to recipients under the applicable Template license.
16. Account Deletion and Termination
You may stop using the Services at any time.
Account deletion may result in the removal of account-specific information or access, subject to our Privacy Policy and any information we are permitted or required to retain.
Published content may not necessarily disappear immediately or completely when an account is deleted. Copies of published Templates may have been downloaded, redistributed, archived, or otherwise retained by others.
Licenses already granted to published Templates remain unaffected by account deletion.
Figranium may suspend or terminate access to the Services where reasonably necessary for violations of these Terms, security reasons, legal requirements, or protection of the Services or their users.
17. Intellectual Property and Infringement
Figranium respects intellectual property rights.
You may not publish content through the Templates Hub unless you have the rights necessary to do so.
If you believe content available through Figranium infringes your copyright or other rights, you may contact us with sufficient information to identify the content and explain your claim.
Figranium may remove or restrict access to allegedly infringing content where appropriate.
18. Figranium Intellectual Property
Except for open-source software and other material made available under a separate license, Figranium and its associated websites, branding, designs, text, graphics, and other materials may be protected by intellectual property laws.
These Terms do not transfer ownership of Figranium's trademarks, branding, website design, or other intellectual property to you.
The permission to scrape and automate Figranium-operated websites under Section 8 permits access to and extraction of publicly available information. It does not by itself transfer ownership of, or grant additional intellectual property rights in, the underlying material.
19. Service Availability and Changes
We may add, modify, suspend, or discontinue features or portions of the Services.
We do not guarantee that any particular feature, Template, integration, metric, website, API, or other part of the Services will remain available indefinitely or without interruption.
We may make changes where necessary for development, maintenance, security, legal compliance, or other operational reasons.
20. Disclaimer of Warranties
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.”
Figranium makes no guarantee that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, secure, accurate, or suitable for any particular purpose.
Community Templates, third-party integrations, AI-generated or AI-processed content, repository metrics, and information obtained from third parties are provided without guarantees regarding their accuracy, reliability, security, or availability.
Verification of a Template does not constitute a warranty or guarantee beyond any specific representation expressly made by Figranium.
Nothing in these Terms excludes warranties or rights that cannot legally be excluded.
21. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable law, Figranium will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages arising from or relating to your use of, or inability to use, the Services.
This includes, where permitted by law, loss of data, profits, revenue, business opportunities, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
Figranium is not responsible for actions performed by automations you create or execute, community Templates you use, websites you automate, or third-party services you choose to interact with.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability where such limitation is prohibited by applicable law.
22. Your Responsibility
You are responsible for your use of the Services, Templates you publish, automations you execute, and interactions you initiate with third-party websites or services.
You are responsible for ensuring that you have any authorization required for your activities and that your use complies with applicable law and applicable third-party terms.
Figranium providing browser automation technology does not imply authorization to automate any particular third-party service.
23. Privacy
Our collection and handling of personal information is described in the Figranium Privacy Policy.
The Privacy Policy provides information about our privacy practices and is separate from these Terms.
24. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms as Figranium and its Services change.
When we update these Terms, we will update the Last updated date at the top of this page.
Where required by applicable law, we may provide additional notice of material changes.
Your continued use of the Services after updated Terms become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
25. General Terms
If any provision of these Terms is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in effect to the extent permitted by applicable law.
Our failure to enforce a provision of these Terms does not waive our right to enforce it later.
These Terms, together with policies or additional terms expressly incorporated into them, constitute the agreement governing your use of the Services.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to restrict rights granted under an applicable open-source license.
